| INSTRUCTION WITH RON COX AVIATION SERVICES RON COX AVIATION provides initial and refresher training for transitional and experienced pilots in pressurized single, recip and turboprop aircraft. Click here to view available aircraft training options. Ron Cox Aviation Services Insttuctors are Airline Transport Pilots (ATPs) with a minimum of 5,000 hours total time. Most our of instructors have over 10,000 hours. Their experience includes former or current military, airline, corporate, or original equipment manufacturer (OEM) pilots. RCAS Courses ~ Initial, Refresher, Supplemental, and Supervised Operational Experience (SOE). Course Syllabi ~ Major Aviation Insurance Underwriter Approved, Course Tailored to Individual Pilot Needs and Experience, LOFT and task specific training in both Initial and Refresher Courses, Electronic media used for all course material and presentations. Training Standards ~ Train to proficiency not hours, Use of FAA PTS for pilots training standards, Safety based, "Fly away ready" upon the completion of our courses. Aircraft versus Simulator Based Training ~ All training is conducted in real conditions, Forces acting upon aircraft are authentic and not simulated, Practice abnormal and emergency procedures done under controlled conditions, Instructor experience protects pilot and aircraft under actual flight conditions. Aircraft Training ~ Conducted in Owners Aircraft, Specific flight instruments - no generic flight panels, Flight Training geared to Aircraft specific year, model, and type, Operational deficiencies noted as they pertain to owner/operators aircraft, Recommendations to future maintenance and aircraft modifications. Instruments ~ All Instructors are experienced in Legacy and Glass Cockpit Operations, Instruments are integrated into every phase of instruction, Use of aircraft's Autopilot and Flight Director encouraged in all flight scenarios, FMS specifics are taught in both Initial and Refresher Courses, Weather Avoidance equipment to include Radar, XM, and Stormscope, All training conducted in actual live weather scenarios. Location ~ Training conducted at owners location, RCAS locations: Vero Beach, FL and Asheville, NC, Assist owners in picking up new aircraft at dealer or seller's location, Flexibility in scheduling. This demonstration provides a sample of interactive diagrams, aircraft specific content, practice quizzes, visual representations, photography, video, and operational tips. View a Quick Online Training Demonstration RCAS developed Online Training courses for particular types of aircraft, they include basic and advanced concepts on all the major aircraft sub-systems. Included in Online Training course will be flight and maintenance operational tips that will expand your knowledge and operational skills in flying and maintaining your aircraft. Sub-modules of the online courses will have both operational limitations for the system and emergency scenarios to test your understanding of how best to operate and maintain your aircraft and piloting skills. Each chapter provides a thorough learning experience and is equipped with both a end of chapter and course examinations. Each Online Training course meets or exceeds the major aviation underwriters requirement for knowledge based learning and understanding of your aircraft systems. Each e-learning module charts and documents your learning experience during the course. Though no documentation is shared with any outside source, you’re learning experience is codified for future follow on training scenario's be they in flight or further ground training. |
